Bellows Pocket with Daisy Chain

The Dive Rite Bellows Pocket is available as a vertical pocket with either a Velcro closure (AC3202), zipper closure (AC3203) or as a horizontal zipper closure (AC3204). These versatile bellows pockets can be mounted to any standard 2-inch webbing waist belt. The bellows pockets include daisy chain webbing on the external pocket for clipping Z-knives, trauma shears or any tool that you need in easy reach. Cave diving this week? No worries, clip a Z-knife to your pocket. Wreck diving next week? Switch out the Z-knife for a pair of trauma shears or leave them both attached.

You have probably seen daisy chain technology on hiking and mountaineering backpacks. Daisy chains are webbing loops sewn to form a chain. On backpacks, they allow you to attach carabineers for accessories. Dive Rite has taken that concept one step further by developing unique sheaths for our cutting devices that will clip into the daisy loops.

But that's not all. Inside these pockets resides a 36-inch, looped lanyard to clip off reels, line markers and pocket lights. No more fumbling for the right tools, just pull out the lanyard, select the tool you need, and stuff the loaded lanyard back in the pocket. Lanyard too long? Simply cut and shorten the cord, re-tie the simple knot and cut off the excess.

Thigh Pocket with Daisy Chain

The Dive Rite Thigh Pocket includes an innovative leg band made of a proprietary material used in bandages. The material holds up to salt water and dries quickly, plus silicone strips placed on the inside of the band grip your exposure suit and keep the leg band in place. At 4-inches in width (10 cm), the new leg band will be comfortable and secure. The pocket is attached via a buckle on the waist belt, allowing a diver to don or doff the thigh pocket without having to unbuckle the waist belt and slide the pocket off. The thigh pocket includes daisy chain webbing on the external pocket for clipping Z-knives, trauma shears or any tool that you need in easy reach. Inside the thigh pocket is a 36-inch, looped lanyard to clip off reels, line markers and pocket lights.

Cutting Tools
for Daisy Chain Pockets

Coordinating with the daisy chain pockets is Dive Rite's unique cutting device sheaths that snap into the pocket daisy chain loops. They use heavy-duty Annex clips that slip through daisy chain loops and snap into place. These clips are rugged and won't come unclasped underwater. To remove, you must pinch the ends slightly to get the clip to release... easy enough, but not so easy that it comes undone all on its own. The sheath clip will also close around cylinder hose retainers, wrist straps, gaiters or a chest strap. If desired, the Annex clips can be removed and the sheath worn on a standard 2-inch waist belt. A quick-release Velcro lanyard keeps the cutting tools securely in place.

Available in three versions:

• Z-knife - A protected razor-sharp blade stored away in a pouch. Sharper than a dive knife, the Z-Knife is preferred for cutting through monofilament and braid line.
  
  
• XL Line Cutter - Preferred by cold-water divers because it is large and easy-to-grip with gloves. It can also be disassembled and replace its cutting edge with a utility knife blade.
  
  
• Trauma shears - Carried by ocean divers for use in cutting wire or fishing nets, our heavy-duty Trauma Shears have salt-water ready stainless steel construction.
