Dive Rite Tank Straps

Dive Rite offers a variety of different types of tank straps. The standard length of 36-inches will easily accomodate 7.25-inch and 8-inch cylinders. There is a special short length of 28-inches for smaller diameter pony cylinders.

S/S Stamped Cam Buckle

Low weight, strong stainless steel design that cinches very tight.
Includes sewn in non-slip pad and protector.

Low Profile Buckle

Compact low profile version of the stainless steel cam buckle. The strap length is adjustable for both small and large cylinders and can be trimmed. Includes removable and position adjustable non-slip pad.

Plastic Cam Buckle

Low cost strap with a classic cam design molded in a durable plastic.
Includes removable and position adjustable non-slip pad.

Hinged Buckle

This strap design is also known as the "ScubaPro" style buckle is back in stock. These are very easy to close and yet pull the strap very tight. Includes removable and position adjustable non-slip pad.

Single Tank Adapter

For divers who frequently switch between double tank and single tank rigs, the Dive Rite Single Tank Adapter is a convenient way to attach cam straps to a hard metal backplate that does not have tank band slots. Constructed of marine grade 304 stainless steel, approximately 1-pound negative, and includes two attachment bolts with wing nuts, and two rubber pads to protect the tank. Also available as a package that includes two Dive Rite S/S Stamped Cam Buckle Tank Straps.

Single Tank Mounting with Backplates

If you occassionally switch between doubles and singles, you can configure your backplate to attach to a single tank by adding two tank straps threaded through the tank strap slots of the aluminum and stainless steel backplates.
If you frequently switch between doubles and singles, you may prefer the speed and convience of adding the straps using an optional single tank adapter mounting plate. If you have a backplate design without the tank strap slots or use the ABS backplate, you must add the straps using a single tank adapter.
