The TransWeight integrated weight system consists of two weight pockets and two holsters. The system is a set of left and right pockets which install easily on the TransPac's or TransPlate's 2.0-inch waist strap webbing. The pockets are angled forward, allowing you to quickly load the holsters containing the weights. Simply slide the holster into the pocket and pat down the VELCRO closures. By having the pockets load from the top rather than the front or the bottom, the Dive Rite system is both easy to ditch or hand off yet stays securely in place. Improved in Spring of 2005 to add a grommet on bottom for rapid drainage and an optional use 1-inch slide release.

TransWeight 32 System
Two pockets that carry up to 16 pounds of block or bag lead weight per pocket for a total of 32 pounds. The 32 is popular with cold water dry suit divers who must carry a lot of weight to counteract the additional buoyancy caused by heavy undergarments and thicker suit materials.

TransWeight 16 System
Two pockets that carry up to 8 pounds of block or bag lead weight per pocket for a total of 16 pounds. The 16 is ideal for most divers who want the benefit of an integrated weight system. It leaves plenty of room for D-rings, lights, pockets, and other accessories.

Trim Weights
By moving some weight higher up on the torso and further back, you may adjust and improve your in-water trim using these non-ditchable weights. They are constructed from a nylon fabric tube holding two, three, or four pounds of lead shot with a large grommet at each end of the tube. (Distance between centers of grommets: 8")
You can put trim weights on each side of the back of a TransPac harness, using two quick links (size medium) to connect to either the upper or lower two D-rings located there. The trim weights also work well mounted to the upper most set of holes on each side of the Dive Rite metal backplates using two S/S sex bolts.

4-Pound Belt Weight
Fits all two-inch harness webbing, plus 4-inch BC cummerbunds. Instructors find the Belt Weight handy when students need additional weight that can be installed on the spot. A VELCRO closure on the weight's mounting loop means that you can install it without having to unthread their cummerbund or belt.

One-Pound Weights
Experienced divers know even small adjustments in weight and its distribution will affect buoyancy and trim. Small weights are also very popular with free divers and rebreather divers. Because small weights are difficult to find, we offer quality one-pounders from Sea Pearls. The lacethru weight fits all 2-inch webbing recessed front and back with a curved inner surface, rounded corners and edges. The soft weight is non-abrasive, made with clean new #4 shot in a double stitched flexible quality Nylon mesh bags.
