Gauge Reader Lenses help take the guesswork out of interpreting the displays of gauges and computers. A half circle at the bottom of the lens doubles the magnification of the rest of the lens. The Tec2000 Gauge Reader mask fits most medium-to-wide faces, but is not recommended if you have facial hair or prominent laugh lines.

SeaVision's patented vision-correction system involves one-piece precision-ground lenses. There is no bonding, gluing, or other primitive method used in a SeaVision product. All SeaVision lenses are made from high-quality composite hard resin material (CR-39) which makes them stronger than normal glass lenses and much more efficient.

(It's only the low quality masks that are difficult to find a good fit because they don't actually fit anyone very well.) Why Black Dive Masks Are Better
Clear skirts on masks are popular because they minimize the claustrophobic feeling some people get when they wear a mask. Nevertheless, clear skirts and even colored frames actually interfere with vision. Extraneous light entering through the clear skirt makes it more difficult for the eye to focus and causes reflections that obscure vision. Demonstrate this by looking out a window from a lighted room at twilight. You will see better by cupping your hands around your eyes as you press your face to the window. Brightly colored glossy accent frames can also cause annoying color halos around the lenses. For these reasons, knowledgeable divers seeking the best possible vision prefer masks with solid black skirts and frames.

SeaVision Defog

All SeaVision lenses are made of quality opthalmic materials, and do not need any special preparation for use. Do NOT clean the lenses with abrasives such as toothpaste or SoftScrub as this will damage their anti-fog quality. To clean, spray a small amount of the SeaVision defog to the interior of each lens surface and rub on the entire lens. Thoroughly rinse all cleaner from the mask interior with fresh or salt water for a clear comfortable dive.
