Lumedyne Reflector

Converting the adjustable reflector light heads for video/digital still lighting is easy. Simply remove the standard exploration reflector collar, and replace it with a Lumedyne video reflector. When fitted to the light head, the Lumedyne reflector softens, diffuses and widens the head's beam to match the coverage of your camcorder's or digital still camera's wide-angle optics.

In many respects, the Lumedyne is the exact opposite of the standard reflector. Where the standard reflector enables you to focus the light's beam to the narrowest, most pinpoint angle possible, the Lumedyne softens, diffuses and spreads the beam to the widest angle possible -- a perfect complement to your camera housing's wide-angle video optics.

When not shooting underwater video or digital stills, simply replace the Lumedyne with the standard reflector, and your light returns to exploration mode.

Flexible Mounting Arm

To attach your Dive Rite light head to your video or digital still housing, you need a mounting arm.

Made from nylon "pop it" beads, the Flex Arm provides a low- cost arm that meets most divers' needs. The standard flex arm consists of seven "pop it" beads; an optional extension provides an additional five beads. The flexible arm includes a built-in "Tee" adapter that slides on to the "Tee" plate attached to the camera housing. The Flex Arm is available with your choice of the snap-in holder, or a version is available that can be screwed directly to the MR11 light head or the H10/H24 reflector.

Mounting Accessories

"Tee" Plate -- "Tee" plates mount to housings using the two included 1/4- 20 stainless machine bolts. Many housings come with pre-threaded holes that fit these bolts.

Light Holder -- For the Compact MR11 or H10 light heads, all that is needed for use with custom mounting systems is a snap-in light holder. The H10 Lumedyne reflector collar, standard H10 reflector or MR11 housing can snap directly into the light holder.

"Goodman" Style Hand Mount w/Light Holder -- The most traditional in appearance, this hand mount is made from stainless steel. This handle orients itself straight across the back of the hand. Hand clearance is adjustable by loosening screws found on both sides of the handle. Includes the snap-in holder, or a version of the handle is available that can be screwed directly to the MR11 light head or the H10/H24 reflector.

Elastic Hand Mount w/Light Holder -- This is the smallest and most form-fitting of all Dive Rite light handles. The handle consists of an elastic strap that encircles the hand. It may be loosened or tightened using a nylon buckle to ensure the best possible fit. Includes the snap-in holder, or the holder may be removed and directly attached to the MR11 light head or H10 HID reflector.

Canister Mounting Strap -- An alternative for canister mounting that allows a diver to attach the light along the side of a TransPac harness or metal backplate. Includes 7.5-inch long x 1-inch wide nylon strap with two sewn-in 1-inch D-rings and two medium quick links.

Quick Belt Mount -- The Dive Rite Quick Belt Mount is used to easily attach and detach a canister light to your waist belt. Hardware such as D-rings and belt buckles no longer have to be removed in order to mount the light. To use the Quick Mount, remove the webbing that comes standard on the canister body and replace with the Quick Mount strap. Pull the bottom, elastic band of the Quick Mount over the bottom of the canister, around a waist belt and back over the canister. The light will be securely placed on the waist belt.
