Dive Rite's 35/50 Watt HID Video Light is a compact, self-contained underwater light system capable of providing a level of illumination previously available only by using surface-supplied power. Dive Rite's HID Video Light delivers a strong, crisp white light with 4,700 degree Kelvin color temperature at 35W and 3,850 Kelvin at 50W. The 35W offers 3,600 lumens of illumination and 5,590 lumens at 50W.

The H35/50 provides a large volume of light at color temperatures that are ideal for the professional, underwater videographer. Hot-strike ability allows the user to change between 35W and 50W output on the fly. The ballast for the light is located in the canister rather than attached to the light head making it extremely light and maneuverable when attached to the camera via mounting arms. The Lumedyne reflector softens, diffuses and widens the head's beam and adjusts to match the coverage of your video camera's wide-angle optics.

The 35/50 Watt HID Video Lighting System is depth rated to 400 feet (121m) and offers Dive Rite's proven canister and 9.0-amp NiMH battery with approximately 1.5 hours of burn time. The reliable time-tested design of Dive Rite's light canister incorporates several important features: belt mount loop, stainless steel locking latch, environmentally sealed toggle switch and boot, switch guard, and sealing gland with strain relief.

Dive Rite's Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery packs are substantially smaller and lighter than gel cell batteries. A special NiMH charger (included) must be used with the NiMH battery packs. Dive Rite NiMH batteries contain no lithium and do not have any TSA travel restrictions. Traveling divers like the NiMH charger because it automatically adjusts to 110/220V current and 50/60Hz frequency. The US power cord is included and power cords are available for most other regions of the globe. If you need additional burn time between charges, consider purchasing extra batteries which could be exchanged during surface intervals.
