Dive Rite RG3000 RegulatorOn This Page: RG3000 Regulator | Pricing |

Dive Rite's proven RG3000 regulator offers excellent performance and reliability, yet is very affordable.
The first stage is a balanced diaphragm design featuring four standard size low-pressure 3/8-inch ports on a swiveling turret, and two standard size high-pressure 7/16-inch ports. Its symmetric design and port alignments support a huge variety of mounting orientations and hose routings. Although we don't recommend flooding your regulator, the RG3000 tolerates flooding very well, making it a good choice as a deco/stage/reserve first stage. Suitable for use in water to 50°F, an optional cold-water environmental kit that allows the RG3000 to perform in cold-water conditions. The environmental kit also protects the regulator from build up of salt, sand, or other contaminants. It comes standard with a 300-BAR DIN connector; a version with a native yoke fitting is also available. Nitrox-ready. The second stage is a pneumatically balanced downstream design that has proven to be very reliable. The ergonomic, venturi lever is easy to adjust even with thick gloves or cold-water mitts. The use of a balanced second stage offers excellent performance at depth -- the deeper the dive, the less effort to breathe. Equipped with a stiff purge, venturi assist switch and breathing-resistance adjustment knob that has a range of adjustments well above average. Nitrox-ready. The RG3000 comes standard with a black cover; yellow, blue, or green interchangeable covers are available.

Some divers prefer the slightly shorter hose length of 22 inches as being more comfortable with less drag and pull, but most solve this problem with a very long primary hose. Also the 22-inch hose is the preferred length with the backup regulator for those divers who use their primary regulator with a long hose. The 40 inch hose is the common choice for the alternate second stage used on most sport diving "octopus" regulator configurations. The 40 inch hose is also the recommended length for stage and deco regulators as well. The 36 inch hose is a more managable length for divers who carry small pony or "bailout" bottles for their personal use. Many advanced divers and instructors believe the common hose lengths are too short in out-of-air situations and now use a much longer hose, often 60 inches (5 feet) for those who dive open water exclusively. Technical divers have adopted a minimum length of 84 inches (7 feet) for overhead environments, and in some exceptional circumstances even use 108 inch (9 feet) long hoses. |

The RG3000 Regulator comes with Dive Rite's limited lifetime warranty and free service kits for life through an authorized Dive Rite dealer as long as the regulator is serviced by an authorized Dive Rite dealer every two years or one hundred dives. Some divers choose to avail themselves of warranty service at authorized service centers. Others prefer the do-it-yourself method. With Dive Rite, there are no mysteries. Dive Rite Express offers complete service parts kits, spares, and maintenance manuals. Important Notice: Availability of Dive Rite repair parts and maintenance manuals does not imply qualification to service Dive Rite products. Service by other than an authorized Dive Rite dealer voids the warranty. Improper service of Dive Rite products can lead to serious injury or death. |
